So Ben is up to 10 pounds 14 ounces and is now 23 1/2 inches long. The Dr. says that he is in the 90th percentile for height, is average weight and has a below average head size (Mo’s influence).
We are also considering ourselves lucky because he has started sleeping 5 hours overnight. If our personal habits have any influence, he’ll be sleeping 22 hours a day any week now!

So Mo was having back pains lately. It has been going on for a while since the baby came, so I got used to asking if it was her back if she had a look of pain on her face (as if that is the only painful thing she has going on right now). Anyway, I asked her if she wanted some orange sherbert in the middle of a feeding. She said, “Sure, as soon as I am done.” So once she was, I promptly prepared a bowl for her. After I handed it to her, I turned on the light behind her. Suddenly I hear this moaning and when I look, all I see is her slumping over to one side of the chair. I assumed it was her back, and asked her if that was the problem. I found out her back was fine when I came around to the front of her chair and she announced, “Ma tounge ithh tuck to da thpoon!”
Mo has since told me that I shouldn’t leave the spoon in the sherbert.

So Mo and I have started having baby hallucinations. She hears the baby crying in their head even when he is quiet. I smell Ben poop even when he isn’t around. It isn’t just around the house either. I smelled it in the car, outside and at the grocery store when he was nowhere nearby. I’m not sure which of us has it worse, but I am think that Mo does.
