It all started almost two years ago when we thought it would be a good idea to buy an unfinished wood corner entertainment center for our family room. We excitedly brought it home, took it out of the box and read the instructions. We didn’t get passed the recommended finishing instructions that day. It was after reading that those instructions that we knew that this would be a long project. We were right! At long last, we finally put the last coat of polyurethane on it today. All that is left is to wait for it to dry an assemble it. We just finished celebrating with chocolate chip ice cream and thin mints.

Many thanks to my parents who graciously let us use the basement at their old house (which is still for sale) so that we didn’t have to live with the fumes!
